Northside is blessed with a number of professional musicians among its members and many good friends who are professionals musicians.

We decided to tap into that pool of talent for the good of our community by creating a series of concerts of high quality that would raise money for and awareness of the many social service agencies in our area that work with the most vulnerable people.

Past concerts have benefited Delonis Shelter, Safe House, American Red Cross of Washtenaw Co., Friends in Deed, Samaritan Counseling Services, and Church World Service's Katrina Relief efforts.

Concerts are always free with donations accepted before, during, and after the concert.

Our hope is that you will be moved to give by the beauty and spirit of the concert and by the need of those being benefited.

  • June 6, 2010 at 7:30 pm
  • Benefiting the work of Samaritan Counseling Services, a nonprofit professional pastoral counseling and psychotherapy extension of Washtenaw, Livingston and Western Wayne County congregations. Their mission is to provide cost-effective counseling, psychotherapy and preventive education which utilize psychological, theological and medical disciplines to treat the whole person. Their certified, licensed professionals offer individual, couples, family counseling and child play therapy as well as education and training.
